(the religions are the medicine.
the doctors are the respective priests.)
we all are the patients...
in judaism we know from where the commandments come, our medicine for our soul, comes from Gd.
Written torah is our doctor's 'prescription'.
Gd is the great Scientist who gave us his life-restoring elixir of his commandments' light.
now, drX foolishly tries to improve on the perfect life giving elixir from Gd (torah commandments) by mixing his own unproven recipe.
he decides that the patient doesnt need to take the medicine!
he decides that it is equally effective if the patient confesses all his ills to the doctor, and since one of the famous patients in the past,Jerry, had gone through similar treatment, that patient can be considered equal to the original Scientist (Gd) who crafted the medicine.
now the doctor decided that the acceptance of the medical treatment by this now deceased famous patient (Jerry) has made jerry equally as smart as the Scientist.
not only that, but jerry was such great patient, that all future patients need only to declare their trust and admiration at Jerry, and... they will be cured!!!
no actual medical treatment needed, for Jerry's treatment has 'fulfilled' all other treatments, and Jerry became like the Scientist incarnated.
Jerry was so good, that he is also the medicine itself.
if one eats any food and declares that this is Jerry's body, he'll be sutomatically cured!
and Jerry, he's also the hospital where the treatment is being administered...
and all who dare to doubt Jerry's powers and insist on taking the actual medicine prescribed by the great Scientist will never get better for they spurned great jerry's sacrifice!!!
to make use of our great Scientist's spiritual remedy, one needs to follow His Recipe: the Torah.

xian claim that jxs 'fulfilled' all of Torah, is an illogical lie.
ReplyDeleteTorah doesn't get 'fulfilled'. We need to LIVE according to Torah, not 'fulfill' it:
give charity, help others, be moral and pure, observe Gd's holy commandments like kosher food, holidays, etc.
